Building the alumni community
I designed these custom graphics to share job updates about Stanford Journalism alumni with the broader community on Facebook and Twitter. The goal was to engage and grow the alumni network, as well as highlight alumni accomplishments to prospective students.
Establishing a new brand
When the Stanford Journalism Program shifted its focus to data journalism in 2014, I designed these graphics to get the word out to the journalism community, applicants and alumni. The idea was to be conversational in line with the program’s innovative approach to journalism education and to set it apart from traditional journalism schools. Some of these graphics were used for print, while others were optimized for Twitter, Facebook and Instagram social promotion.
Reaching different audiences
When the interdisciplinary Digital Media Entrepreneurship course needed to reach journalists, computer scientists and MBAs, I customized promotional messaging to appeal to different audiences.
Quotes for social media
To promote articles, I designed shareable quote graphics for use to engage audiences on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
There are countless events and programs happening each day at Stanford. So to get someone’s attention, the design has to be unique.
